Make sure the user has local admin rights to run the regedit files

Initial Install

Go to \\slimstock\slimstockshare\client_installation\Slim4_PRD

Run the Slim4_PRD ODBC regedit file (this adds the ODBC connection automatically)

Go to the Full Installers folder and run the Slim4 Client installer. During the install change the name of the last folder in the install path eg.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Slimstock\Slim4 is the original change it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Slimstock\Slim4_PRD

Copying the database and library files

Open a share to the existing users machine C:\Program Files (x86)\Slimstock\Slim4_PRD and copy the DBMS.df1 Fim.df1 and Fim.lbs files. Paste them onto the desktop of the new machine.

Copy and replace the files on the new machine to the Slimstock install location.

Giving the user full security permissions to Slimstock

On the new machine go back to C:\Program Files (x86) and right click on the Slimstock folder. Go to properties and then the security tab. Click on advanced and then change permissions. Add the user and give them full control to the folder. Then tick the option to replace all child objects and apply the change.

Initial Login

Now run the Slimstock program from the desktop and you will be presented with this screen, fill in accordingly

These are the current serial numbers that I am aware of, ask Anita if you need more info

Click ok and you should see this screen and be able to select a user from the dropdown list. This is what the user will see when they open the program.
