Give the user Local Admin rights
Most things you need are here \\itapps\apps$\Netsuite
Go to \\itapps\apps$\Netsuite\ODBC Drivers and install the 64bit Netsuite drivers
Verify the settings by opening ODBC 64bit and going to SystemDSN tab. Check the following settings match
Go to \\itapps\apps$\Netsuite\Installs choose the lastest version folder and then run the "Spreadsheet Server Suite.exe" as admin.
Next, through the install location, choose Other option from the drop down
Tick Spreadsheet server and Cloud connector, then install.
If you get an excel error you need to do an online office repair and then try again
If the installer bombs out try copying the installer to the local machine. Otherwise you may need to download a more recent version from here https://download.insightsoftware.com/installation/spreadsheet-server/
Once done search for Cloud connector and open the program
Enter the info as follows
Host - internationalmotors-prod001
Port - 443
It will then prompt them to sign into Insight Software, this is different to their Netsuite account. They may have to do a password reset to get in
Once signed in it should already have the right settings in there. You can close the window once done
Run Excel, Spreadsheet Server should appear as an addin at the top and the "Ledger Selection" window should popup.
If not click on the Spreadsheet server tab and then click on Settings
Choose the network option and point it to the "Security Files" folder.
There are a couple of different ones depending on the version installed. Just match them up
Settings can be imported from \\itapps\apps$\Netsuite\Installs\ - then the version you installed
In the folder there will be a "SSSettings.xml"
Copy this and paste it to the location below on the users machine
Remove Local Admin rights
This should be it. Might have to do the below on some occasions.
In the settings menu
Select Designer GL on the left
Click Set default GL and choose NetsuiteSQLite_Prod
Click "Load Default GL Definition" password is gsi
Then click save at the bottom
