Open Adobe and click on the Menu button on the top right

Then Click on preferences

Next go to Security (Enhanced) and untick "Enable Protected Mode Startup"

Then go to General and scroll down to the bottom and click on "Select as Default PDF Handler" and then "OK". Adobe should close and re-open (If it doesn't don't worry, just manually close and re-open)

If this doesn't work reload Adobe.
